IW released a study on the middle class in Germany. To be considered a middle-class single you need to earn €1,850+ net. If you are above €5,780 you are considered rich (only 4% in Germany). For a family of four, the middle class starts at €3,880. To be in the top 10% in Berlin as a single you need to earn around €4,170.

Yay! MotionLab.Berlin won tender for 17,000 m² makerspace at ringberlin campus, opening in Q2 2027. The €36M state-funded facility will include workshops, coworking spaces, and event areas, serving as a hub for tech innovation.
